which primer is the best for me?

I am not an expert nor a specialist, I have no qualifications in skin care/beauty etc. Whatever I write in my skin/makeup related posts should only be taken in to consideration if you have a similar skin type as myself. Anything I write is from my own experience and anything else I have researched etc.
ENJOY!

Not everyone needs a primer but if you have oily or acne prone skin then a primer is an absolute MUST! I only discovered primers about a year and a half ago and since then I have been on a big hunt to find the perfect pretty primer!

If you don't already know primers are absolutely amazing, always leaving your skin feeling smooth, providing a perfect canvas for flawless application! Applying primer is the best part of my make-up routine!

I'm also a little bit of a skin care freak so I have to use a primer before EVERY foundation application, it's a little psychological now.. I think if I don't use a primer, then my skin is not protected. uhh weird!

I have always wanted something which would make my foundation last during my long days, where retouching is near impossible! I have always, always, ALWAYS had the issue with my skin becoming so overly oily after a few hours of heading out! I also suffer from breakouts which have minimized over the years (I shall do a post on that in the future!) So I needed something which would hold my foundation as well as minimizing pores.

I always loved having that healthy glow, but I never found a way to balance that glow oil control at the same time! SO which primer is the best then?!

The very first primer I started with was the 'Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer' it was a beautiful primer which I used for about a year, however, it felt like all the moisture had been sucked out of my skin after applying it which made the foundation application tricky... So I moved on to using 'Loreal Lumi Magique Primer' which was a brilliant primer, leaving that healthy glow I wanted.. however my foundation did not last the whole day and my skin became oily and so after researching and looking around, I found the love of my life!

'Smashbox Photo Finish More Than Primer Dark Spot Correcting' (as photographed above) I recommend this primer to you all! It is absolutely fabulous! (depending on your skin type and preference)   It does say to apply twice a day to help fade dark spots and to improve skin radiance, however I have not seen any evidence in this as I only apply the primer once a day! It leaves a perfect canvas to apply foundation, smooth smooth smooth!! I do want to try another primer from the smashbox range after I have used this! Will keep you all updated with any changes I make! ",

This has nothing to do with a primer but I wanted to share my new eye mask with you all (purchased yesterday so I'm all excited about it!), it's so pretty I love it!
Thank you for reading my primer post. Have a lovely night ladies!
